The 8th Thailand Halal Assembly (THA) 2021 has been organized by the Halal Science Center Chulalongkorn University (HSC-CU) in collaboration with the Central Islamic Council of Thailand (CICOT) and the Halal Standard Institute of Thailand (HSIT), on December 14-15, 2021, was thus second organized virtually under a theme “A VIRTUAL WAY FOR ACTUAL HALAL WORLD” in complying with the International Halal Science and Technology Conference (IHSATEC): Halal Science Industry and Business (HASIB); IHSATEC2021: 14th HASIB Conference, The International Halal Standards and Certification Convention (7th IHSACC), and virtual directory of over 200 Halal entrepreneurs and SMEs

The International Halal Science and Technology Conference (IHSATEC) 2021; The 14th Halal Science Industry and Business (HASIB) was annual conference. This year, the event is secondly held through online platform. Over 50 experts both Thai and foreigners in Halal and various related fields regarding Halal Science and Technology in Industry and Business perspective. To share and exchange ideas, research, and work. The program will include keynote presentations from invited speakers, oral presentations, and posters. Call for paper to publish in the international journal and contest which has opened for all students, researchers or those who Interested to participate in the conference are cordially invited to submit research.

The 7th International Halal Standards and
Certification Convention (7th IHSACC)

The Halal Standard Institute of Thailand (HSIT), Central Islamic Council of Thailand (CICOT), and Halal Science Center Chulalongkorn University (HSC-CU), and in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC) will organize “The 7th International Halal Standard and Certification Convention (IHSACC)” in achieving the new Vision “To create a quality infrastructure that improves economy, welfare and protects our Member States”. This important convention will be a significant part of the 8th Thailand Halal Assembly 2021.

This convention is designed to meet the three distinct strategic priorities (goals), 1) Develop high-quality standards that are used worldwide; 2) Support the Halal Standards Bodies, Halal Certification Bodies as well as Halal Accreditation Bodies needs and ensure effective engagement of their stakeholders; and 3) Support the enhancement of quality infrastructure and interconnectivity of all key stakeholders.
